Non-cancerous liver tumors

Benign or Non-cancerous liver tumors are very common and they normally do not spread to other areas of the liver or any other organ. The risk factor involved is also low. These are normally not detected unless some medical imaging tests are done i.e. CT test, ultrasound and MRI. Some of the common types of liver tumors are hemangiomas, hepatocellular adenomas and hyperplastic. Very rarely it requires treatment.
